Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead-Activation to join our Activation Operations department and play a vital role in the planning, execution, and management of events and activations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences and a track record of success in event planning and execution. This role offers the opportunity to work with top-tier clients, collaborate with talented teams, and make a significant impact in the world of experiential marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with clients and internal stake-holders to develop event/activation strategies that align with brand objectives, target audience demographics, and marketing goals.
- Execution Management: Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and timelines, to ensure seamless execution and successful outcomes.
- Creative Conceptualization: Contribute innovative ideas and concepts for event themes, experiences, and engagement activities that resonate with audiences and differentiate our clients from competitors.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders through clear and consistent communication, proactive problem-solving, and exceptional service delivery.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address issues that may arise during events, ensuring the safety, satisfaction, and success of participants.
- Post-Event Analysis: Conduct thorough evaluations of event performance, gather feedback from stakeholders, and analyze metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and inform future event strategies.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to cross-functional team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment that drives creativity, innovation, and excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in event planning, activation management, or related roles, preferably within the marketing or advertising industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate contracts, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Creative mindset with a passion for experiential marketing and a keen awareness of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event assignments.
